Kinder was finally breaking into the US market, with major grocery chains ready to sell their product to the yearning and faithful consumers. The only thing they were missing was a big stunt that would commemorate this momentous occasion. The challenge was to deliver a fun, surprised-filled experience that would let children bond with their parent(s) while showcasing the Joy chocolate egg's candy and surprise toy.
One idea was to create a larger-than-life Rube Goldberg machine that delivered surprise after surprise action. Another was to immerse guests inside the Joy egg and have them take a magical trip through the world of Kinder. And the last idea was to let the classic carnival claw game give families a fun challenge and gifting them with great prizes.
