Diageo hosts a global competition of the world's best bartenders called World Class. Its the marquee event for Diageo to celebrate the brightest of the mixology trade and its a critical program to showcase the luxury credentials of Diageo's portfolio.
As Don Julio's experiential partner, we wanted to showcase Don Julio's deep-rooted connection to Mexico, as Don Julio Gonzalez himself revolutionized the tequila industry with his legendary reposado tequila and elevated tequila to the dominance of other spirits.
We created the Don Julio Loft space to showcase Mexico's traditional art forms that were paired with Mexico's best tequila. Guest artists created artwork that told the story of Don Julio and through each respective medium.
We hosted the Don Julio Azul pool party for the last day of the World Class event. Guests were treated to traditional Mexican cuisine and specialty Don Julio cocktails while dancing to hottest music coming from Mexico.
